Parrs purchase at City Park

PARRS Point has bought two units at City Park Industrial Estate, Glasgow, for £450,000.

Jones Lang LaSalle, on behalf of Bankhead Estates, orchestrated the sale which saw over 6,254 sq ft of industrial space sold to an associated company of existing tenant Continental Wine and Foods.

Refurbishment of the remainder of the units at City Park is nearing completion. The space on offer ranges from 3,000 sq ft - 10, 000 sq ft. Units can be combined to achieve a total of 30,000 sq ft, sale prices start at £249,000.

Andrew McCracken of JLL said: “We anticipate that further sales and lettings will be announced shortly.”

Cass Hibbert of King Sturge added: “This latest deal at City Park follows the recent sale of Unit 10, which is now occupied by The Verve Volkswagen parts specialist.”

PAPER PAK FIRST

THE materials and packaging business Paper Pak UK has set up its first Scottish operation in Cardonald. Jones Lang LaSalle, on behalf of Euro PC, has let 12,366 sq ft at 88 Fifty Pitches Road to Paper Pak on a 10-year lease at £74,196 a year.

BOTHWELL FREIGHT

FREIGHT Management has paid Bothwell Bridge Estates an undisclosed sum for the 2,737 sq ft at 12 Candymill Lane in Hamilton’s Bothwell Bridge Business Park.

It is expected to move into the business park by the end of this month for the management of high volume domestic traffic within the UK and freight forwarding throughout Europe.

Kerr Smith of Jones Lang LaSalle, which advised Bothwell, said: “Bothwell Bridge Business Park continues to receive good interest.”
