Day out in the glen for big shots
SCOTTISH property investor Robbie O’Donnell’s Andalucia-based RRJ
Estates Group celebrated its tenth successful year in business with a
bang – well, several bangs. He took property contacts out for a day’s
out shooting at the North Chesthill Estate in Glen Lyon, Perthshire.
The day involved shooting small- and full-bore bolt-action rifles,
clay-pigeon shooting and driving eight-wheeled buggies. Suitably, lunch
was served at the very Spanish time of 3pm, guests having already
enjoyed all the activities by then together

with buck's fizz on the bus, bacon rolls on arrival and tea and scones
served at noon to keep energy levels up.
TRIES FOR CHARITY
EIGHTEEN teams took part in first King Sturge charity tag rugby sevens
at the Edinburgh Accies ground. Co-sponsored by Estates Gazette, it
raised £3,500 for the Edinburgh Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
The men’s tournament was won by CKD Galbraith, who beat Eric Young & Co
in a close final, while DTZ beat GVA Grimley in the mixed event.
